The Abandoning had a particularly twisted effect on Pinkie Pie. The Element of Laughter had always been one for celebration and parties, and she prided herself on her ability to bring joy to others. But now, in a cruel reward for her efforts, Pinkie Pie is no longer capable of feeling any other emotion but bubbly elation. Her element took control of her mind, pushing out everything but itself. Pinkie was reduced to a giggling mess of a mare, unable to feel sadness, nor fear, nor curiosity, nor excitement. Just happiness.
For Pinkie, the flavor of life has all but run bland. And she isn't even able to hate it. Pinkie is aware of how empty her life has become. But no one else seems to notice. Leaving Pinkie Pie more alone than she has ever felt.
